There Are Various Types of PTZ

* In accordance with the load installation is divided into top-mounted and side mounted PTZ.
* According to use environment is divided into general-purpose and special-type. Universal one refers to the use in non-flammable, non-corrosive gas or no dust atmospheric environment, can be divided into the use type and outdoor-type. The most typical application for special type PTZ in explosion-proof PTZ.
In the selection of PTZ we must consider installation environment, installation, operating voltage, load size, also have to consider cost performance and the aesthetic appearance and other factors.
The Internal Structure of PTZ
There are two motors within the all-round PTZ, respectively control the up-down direction and left-right direction rotation. The different voltage also determines the overall work voltage of the PTZ, generally the AC 24V, AC 220V and DC 24V. when receive the up-down action voltage, vertical motor rotate, the rotate transmission through the gear box drive wheel rotation; When receive the left and right horizontal move voltage, the horizontal motor rotation drive the horizontal gear at the bottom of the PTZ through gear box.
Be noted that PTZ has a horizontal and vertical spacing restrict bolt, PTZ achieve spacing restriction function by two micro-switches respectively. When the rotation angle achieve a pre-set limit bolt, micro-switch moves to cut off power supply, PTZ stop turning. Limit device can be located outside of PTZ, adjustment process is simply, and can also be located in PTZ inside, adjust through peripheral adjustments, the adjustment process is complexity relatively. But the tightness of the external limit device is not better then the PTZ's limit PTZ devices built-in.
Indoor PTZ and Outdoor PTZ broadly is similar with each other generally, but because the weight of a larger outdoor protective cover, so that the load of capacity the PTZ must increase. Meanwhile, hot and cold changes is obviously in outdoor environment, vulnerable to erosion by rain or moisture. Outdoor PTZ therefore are generally designed as seal water-resistant type. Outdoor PTZ also features a high torque and choke protection circuits to prevent burned by PTZ motor force starting in the freeze. Under the harsh conditions at low temperature can also install the temperature control PTZ-type heater.
